"I Ridwan Kamil, the mayor of Bandung. I'd like to welcome to the delegates Asian-African Conference in Bandung," said Ridwan began his speech in English, at Gedung Merdeka, Jalan Asia Afrika, Bandung, West Java, on Friday (24/4 / 2015).
"Welcome to the Asian tigers and African lions," he continued.
Ridwan then deliver the goal stood before the audience. He was asked by President Joko Widodo to read the Ten Principles of Bandung.
After reading 10 points contains a statement of solidarity with countries in Asia and Africa which was decided in 1955 KAA in English, the mayor who likes hats came back to say welcome to the delegates. He invited the leaders of Asia and Africa to enjoy Bandung.
"Welcome to Bandung. The capital of Asia, Africa and the first green city human rights," said Ridwan.
At the end of his speech he said hello closing in Sundanese, "Hatur nuhun."
